Select your caliber and zero distance โ see estimated drop, velocity, energy, and wind drift out to 500 yards.
โ ๏ธ Estimated values based on standard conditions (sea level, 59ยฐF). Actual performance varies by barrel length, ammo brand, altitude, and temperature. Verify with live fire before making long-range shots.
Drop: Positive (+) means bullet is above line of sight. Negative means below. At your zero distance the bullet crosses the line of sight โ values on either side show where it is relative to your aim point.
What zero should I use? For Alabama deer hunting, a 100-yard zero is standard โ your bullet will be about 2" high at 50 yards and 3-4" low at 200 yards, well within the vitals of a whitetail at any realistic hunting distance.
Wind drift assumes a full-value 10mph crosswind at 90 degrees. A quartering wind is roughly half that value.
